Linux System Engineer

As Linux system engineer at Tigron you are responsible for the management and support of our own infrastructure as well as customer infrastructure. You strive for a high uptime, your monitoring skills make sure that every problem is quickly detected and can be resolved in a timely manner. You keep documentation up to date for you and your colleagues. During issues you remain calm and stress-resistant and in worse case situations you can rely on a backup you took earlier ;).

You have a very good knowledge of :

  • Linux (debian)
  • open source software like webservers, databases, tools,...
  • Webservers like Apache en Nginx
  • Versioning via GIT 
  • MySQL (percona/mariadb) of postgresQL
  • Vlans, firewall, VPN, wifi,...
  • Scripting (bash of python/perl)
  • Ansible
  • Backup solutions
  • Hypervisors (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-v,...)
  • Monitoring (Nagios,Munin,...) 
  • Good knowledge of datacenter equipment like Dell PowerEdge servers, Juniper switches/routers, SAN/NAS is a plus
  • Knowledge of containers (docker, kubernetes) is a plus

Junior account manager 

Tigron is currently looking for a new candidate to join our growing sales team in Zaventem. Your job doesn't stop with lead generation, but you will be given the opportunity to give your own input in the growth direction of our company.

What will you do?

  • You follow up the sales process from A to Z and contribute to an optimal customer satisfaction.
  • You generate leads in cooperation with our partners.
  • You are able to offer customers a listening ear and help them solve any problems.
  • You have a personal relationship with our customers and try to make the difference for them.
  • You will be part of a team that works in an interdisciplinary way and that thrives on complex projects.

Who are you?

  • Your enthusiasm is contagious, and you know how to convince customers like no other. In short, you are a real hunter.
  • You have a passion for commercial work and show a positive, dynamic and energetic attitude in your job.
  • You are entrepreneurial and take the necessary initiatives. 
  • The IT world is not entirely foreign to you.
  • You may have had your first sales experience or have just graduated, it does not matter to us. You have the drive to get in there and chase leads
  • You have at least a master (MA) or bachelor (BA) degree or equivalent through experience
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English and you can work in French.

Who are you?

  • You have a passion for commercial work and derive energy from results and customer loyalty.
  • You show a positive, dynamic and energetic attitude in your job.
  • You are entrepreneurial and take the necessary initiatives.
  • You already have knowledge of the IT industry. You can immediately refer a customer with questions to the appropriate IT solution.
  • Preferably you know the key products in the portfolio of our main partners (Dell, Veeam, Microsoft, ...)
  • You are not afraid to learn about new technology.
  • You have at least a Master (MA) or Bachelor (BA) degree or equivalent through experience
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English and you can communicate in French.
